Water Safety Perth – Mountain Rescue

Our Police Scotland Tayside Mountain Rescue Team and their volunteer colleagues from Tayside Mountain Rescue Team recently attended a water safety event at North Inch, Perth where they had the chance to chat to the public about water safety and the work they do in the rivers, lochs and gorges of Tayside. The event was organised by our MRT Officers around the region when folk get into difficulty in and around inland water.

A great day out with the good people of Perth, spreading the word, passing on experiences and educating lots of young people and adults in key skills such as using throwlines, dealing with water emergencies, cold water immersion and CPR.
